Packing Recommendations

We've found that the following guidelines will help you get your comics to us in the same condition that you sent them.

1. Bag and board each comic

Do not tape them closed. Taped bags add extra time to your submission, which may cause delays in your order.

2. Ship in a Gemini Flash Mailer

For shipping, we recommend Gemini Flash Mailers. You can place up to 12 bagged and boarded comics inside. We recommend adding 3 standard backing boards on the top and bottom of your stack inside the Gemini.

Here is a visual guide:

3. Put the mailer inside a box

Do not ship the Gemini mailer on its own. The mailer will not protect against aggressive handling by package handlers.

For extra protection, place the mailer inside a larger box with enough bubble wrap or padding inside so the mailer won't move around. The goal is for the mailer to sit in the exact middle of the box, so that if the box gets dropped hard on a corner or edge, the books will still be safe.

For the shipping box, we recommend a box that's at least 14" x 8" x 2" — for example, these Uline literature mailers.

Note: for larger orders of 50 or more books, see [LINK PLACEHOLDER — 50+ book packing page] for packing recommendations.

4. Include your submission form and ship

Make sure your submission form is inside your shipping box — this is super important.
